Helping Children Step Out Of Poverty
Pinellas County, FL
Course of Hope serves the children of the local community by providing backpacks and school supplies, hair cuts, physicals and eye exams for back to school, Christmas presents for children in need, and meals throughout the year.
St. Louis du Nord, Haiti
With Shiloh Mission Church and School, we partner together on:
Education – making sure that children receive a good education. For about $135 a year, sponsors can provide a child with an education, books and a uniform. This sponsorship also helps provide jobs for teachers and seamstresses.
Water – establishing a source of clean, potable water for the church, school and community.
Nakuru, Kenya, Africa
We operate a child care center called Springs of Hope Kenya in Nakuru, Kenya for children who have no extended family to care for them, many due to the HIV/AIDS pandemic. It is currently home to over 40 children. SOHK gives the children a family atmosphere, with a loving and safe environment. In addition to the child care center, SOHK has a Sewing Center that creates stylish quilted cotton luggage, handbags and accessories under the Bagamoyo brand. It also works to meet the needs of children living on the street.
